Identification of medicinal products (IDMP) with the SAP Cloud App Polaris
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by DHC (in German language).
The core idea behind the IDMP is an in-depth knowledge of the medicinal products on the market with a special focus on their composition and pharmacovigilance. This is achieved by consolidating and centralising the data. In addition to the EU, other authorities such as the FDA and local authorities also require corresponding information. This means that in future all MAHs (Marketing Authorisation Holders) will have to submit significantly more structured data (IDMP or, for the EU, SPOR-compatible data) to the authorities. In order to prepare the submission of product information, a large amount of data must be collected throughout the company. Appropriate IT systems and processes must be established in the company for this purpose.
The SAP Cloud App Polaris from Gramont can be used to support the tasks involved. Gramont Polaris is an SAP cloud application with integration to SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC for consolidating structured and unstructured data for preparing the electronic submission of authorisation dossiers. It enables the integration, aggregation and standardisation of this data and its conversion into ISO IDMP standards, terminology and formats. Polaris offers a flexible architecture that helps companies fulfil additional requirements as they arise.
The web session introduces the concept and the software.

Validation of SAP S/4HANA on-premise and Private Cloud Edition
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by DHC (in German language).
SAP offers its ERP system S/4HANA both on-premise and as a cloud solution. As all computerised systems used in the life sciences have to be validated, all ERP systems were previously operated by the companies themselves (even if they were installed at a hosting service provider). From SAP’s cloud portfolio, the Private Cloud Edition is an alternative to the on-premise version for the life sciences. The web session looks at the differences between the two S/4HANA alternatives from the perspective of CSV (Computerised System Validation).

Manage inspection plan changes with change folders in SAP S/4HANA
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by All for One (in German language).
Changing master data is part of your change management process. With SAP S/4HANA, change services can no longer be managed with change requests or change orders. As of SAP S/4HANA 2020 FPS01, the change folder (PLM-CR) has been activated as the successor to change requests and change orders. The change folders recommended by SAP are used to track approval processes.
If you are planning a conversion project, you are affected by the use of change folders if you use transactions CC31, CC32, CC33, CC62, OS72, OS73 in your SAP ECC system.
In this web session you will learn how to manage the release process of inspection plans via change folders. You will get to know the Fiori Launchpad, in which the change management process is managed via new applications. The range of functions includes apps for managing change folders, change master records and the Engineering Cockpit.

Access, Visitor and Evacuation Management in the Life Sciences Industry
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by our partner OSC (in German language).
Efficient access control is essential for companies in the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries. The boundaries between classic access control and security and safety requirements in companies are becoming increasingly blurred.
The current challenge is, for example, the linking of existing access authorisations with additional properties or qualifications that also expire over time (example: vaccination certificate or forklift licence). Only after various parameters have been checked will access or the start of the forklift truck be authorised. During the webinar, OSC will present an automated software solution to the participants, which restructures, regulates and controls the presence of employees, external companies and visitors in the company in a data protection compliant manner. In addition to SAP, many other software systems can be connected. Autonomous operation is also possible. The webinar will be rounded off with examples of current trends and new developments in access, evacuation and visitor management.

Protect SAP data exports against cyber attacks and along the digital supply chain
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by our partner SECUDE (in German language).
The current almost daily news about cyber attacks show that companies can never completely secure their IT perimeters. Due to their special data protection and security requirements, life sciences companies in particular need effective measures in case attackers were able to penetrate their IT systems. The idea is to prevent cyber attacks by ensuring that no data can leave the systems that can be used beyond the company’s own IT security perimeter. This means controlling and automatically encrypting all data exports from company applications such as SAP. In order to be able to work securely with the exported data afterwards, a Digital Rights Management (DRM) platform such as Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) is needed.
In this web session, our partner SECUDE showed you how to protect SAP downloads, exported bills of materials (BoM) and other document data extracted from SAP automatically with MIP, while fully preserving process efficiency. With the help of the “Data Protector for SAP”, the security profile of the exported SAP data is automatically transferred to the appropriate MIP “label”. This means that only authorised users have access to this data, even if it has to leave the SAP system or be used along the digital supply chain. Conversely, it means that hackers can capture this data but cannot use it because of the MIP data encryption.

SAP Security Audit for the security of your system
A web session of the Life Sciences Alliance, hosted by OSC (in German language).
The current threats and attacks on IT and infrastructure in companies have long ceased to be an abstract danger. Every day, security incidents occur that can seriously affect a company. SAP systems are often the focus of attacks from inside and outside the company. For intruders, there are a multitude of attack points. Effective protection is therefore almost impossible without technical aids. Security does not have to be expensive. Our security packages allow you to quickly, flexibly and cost-effectively analyze your SAP security in the most important areas. This includes e.g. database security, the check of your source code in in-house developments, your implemented authorization concepts as well as many other system parameters.
